Analysis of three digipaks

Analysis of three digipaks
As we are drawing nearer and nearer to actually coming round and producing my very own digipak. It is a necessity to break down some digipaks or at least album covers to get an idea of what I wish for my final piece of coursework to turn out like. Analysing the same genre as my artist (electropop/dance) but also stretching the borders to album covers and digipaks that intrigue me and ones that automatically catch my eye upon entering the itunes store or HMV etc.

1) Frank Muzik - Complete Me
2) Calvin Harris - I Created Disco
3) Example - Playing In The Shadows
Upon analysing these covers it reinforces the notion that one or two fonts shall be used as to not over complicate things. Loud colours are okay if they can be toned down with perhaps a contrasting font. Eye contact is not a necessity but engages the audience and gives off a friendly persona. The font in my case shall reflect the colours of a strobe light to make clear reference to the actual genre.
