Production of music video
How we planned our music video project
Planning our music video was much different from the planning we did in AS (when planning our thriller films). This is because music videos is much more complex when editing and so planning needs to be much more precise and clear. For example, we had to plan in detail how we wanted some of our most important shots, and so we had to be sure that we filmed it properly so that it would work when it comes to editing. We also had to plan, what days to film, in which locations, what times of the day and so on... and all this was much more stressful than planning for a thriller film!
The party we organised was one of the most stressful things to plan because we had to make sure we invited people that would co-operate with us, and make sure we didn't invite too much people! We also had to cancel it at one point and re-schedule it to the following week which we thought would put people off coming, but luckily it didn't! We also had to buy our props such as red cups and the alcohol and so on.. but in the end it turnt out successful as we managed to film all the shots we needed.

Editing skills I have developed
Editing a music video differs from editing a film and so it required me to learn a few extra things. For example I had learn how to edit to the beat of the song, learn how to put markers on clips so that I would be able to sync it up so that the singing was in time with the singing of the song, learn how to line up all the base tracks and cut and delete between them so that they can cut between different base tracks, learn how to adjust the brightness of some shots, change the speed, add in transitions and so on......
It was hard work and required commitment from evey person in my group, but we were all reliable and did everything together.
