Production of music video: Filming on day two

On our second day of filming we went to City Road Basin as well as Barbican.

As seen in the previous blog we all met up before filming time so that we can discuss how we will film our planned shots.

We took many shots at City Road Basin including shots that we didn't plan, this is because we thought that we thought of when we was there would look great in our music video.

Here are a few shots we took while filming at City Road Basin

Me and Temi making sure that Nathan our artist is in the perfect position for the shot. We also used the LED camera top light while filming here so that our artist will shine showing he is the star of the video.

While filming we also kept discussing how to make the shot better, you can see that Temi is showing his thoughts on a shot.

A long shot of us filming Nathan going down stairs which we could use in our video to show his journey to the party.

After seeing lights being reflected onto the canal we decided we should take a shot of Nathan singing infront of it so that people can see the reflections which look good.

Unfortunately the shot did not turn out as good as we hoped for but we are still happy that we tried to see if the shot works or not.

We then started to take more close-ups of our artists face because in music videos we have to show the artists in different shots including close-ups.

Here was a shot taken of Nathan while he was performing.

We saw fireworks going off so we decided to take pictures of them incase we decide to use them, unfortunately they didn't come out good.
