Planning for Music Video: Analysing 3 music videos

We we're told to analysis 3 different music videos that have influenced our final planning decisions.
I have looked outside our genre which is electro-pop to show that all music videos can influence you in different ways.

One video that has influenced me for our final decisions is Black Eyed Peas - I gotta feeling which is in the genre house/hip-hop.
The song has a party based video although it doesn't start in the party straight away when it does show the party which is at 1:30.
When showing the party bits in the video the camera does not stay still at all, it is either moving side to side, going towards then away from the camera and also up and down.

Another music video that has influenced me is Asking - A Prophecy which is a Metalcore music band.
Starting of with slow motion as the melody of the song is calming and relaxing it suddenly becomes a fast pace video, hardly staying still with lots of jump cuts included.

The third song that has influenced me is Scarlett O'Hara's - Lost in Existence which is a post-hardcore band.
I believe the music video has very good base tracks, always going back to them but never making the music video look boring. It has shown me how important bas tracks can be in a music video and that we have to put a lot of detail into them.

A piece of editing has really caught my attention which i find very good, its from the video Pitbull - Give Me Everything, the editing that occurs is very eye catchy and requires precision to achieve.

Although it will take quiet a time to achieve and it will only be shown for a few seconds i believe it will make the video look much better.
