(Planning) Copyright clearance

Below is a screenshot of the copyright clearance one of my fellow group members Ethel sent requesting permission to use their song in our project. Seen as we had not decided to even consider using this song in our coursework before summer we only recently sent this email off. As you can see the email contains all of the relevant information required about our project and in what way we will use the the song. When requesting for something as vital as Copyright clearance it is important that the email or letter you send off is well composed, containing all the relevant information; if not, it is not likely that you will get a response because the company or person that own the rights could possibly think your amateur and not take you seriously, therefore you will not receive a response.
